Context

Learning safety through play

Safe City is an educational mobile-game concept designed to introduce children to practical safety awareness. Rather than presenting rules as static instruction, the experience places them inside approachable situations that can be explored through characters, maps and short activities.

The challenge

Keeping serious lessons approachable

Safety content needs to be memorable without becoming frightening or overly instructional. The interface therefore had to communicate consequences clearly while using a tone, visual language and interaction model suitable for younger users.

Design process

Breaking learning into small interactions

The experience uses a navigable world, guided dialogue and varied mini-games to turn each lesson into an action. Matching, multiple-choice, puzzles and spot-the-danger tasks reinforce different types of decision-making while progress feedback keeps the wider journey understandable.

Outcome

A coherent child-friendly system

The final concept combines education and play within one consistent visual system. Repeated interaction patterns reduce the learning curve, while characters and level progression give children a reason to continue exploring practical safety scenarios.
